Application: Monastery
Even before the First World War, there was the idea of building a monastery in Duvno.
Until then there were only monasteries in the south and the population in this area increased which are both reasons why a monastery is needed.
The first works on the monastery began in 1930.
It was initially built and also expanded, however, it was largely destroyed during the war.
It wasn't until 1958 that major changes began again.
In 2002, our local partner installed a Disan central vacuum system during the renovation work.
With the installed central vacuum unit C03 125, the three floors of the monastery can be easily cleaned.
Until 2005 there was always renovation work on the monastery.
Today the monastery has the typical 4 wings of a monastery, with a cloister in the middle, a monastery library, a dining room and a conversation room.
