SPT stands for "Small Precision Tools" and it is a tool manufacturer based in Lyss near Bern.

As the name suggests, they are specialized in making precision tools like for example tools for the watchmaking industry.

The Roth Group was founded in 1890 by Peter Roth - back then as a producer of watch stones and industrial rubies.

Over the years, the company started working more and more with companies, which were part of the Small Precision Tools group.

In 1998, Roth Group and Small Precision Tools merged to form one company with the name SPT Roth Ltd.

In the production of such precise tools as the one SPT is producing, the working area has to be absolutely clean.

For that reason, a Disan central vacuum cleaning system with a central vacuum unit model H02 175 was installed.

With this unit it is possible that 8 users are working simultaneously.
